Alligator Juniper features contemporary poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction and black & white photography. We encourage submissions from writers and photographers at all levels, emerging, early-career, and established.

Alligator Juniper produces one annual issue comprised of the winners and finalists of our national contests. All entrants pay an $18 submission fee and receive feedback from our editorial staff and a complimentary copy of the journal. Our national writing competition offers all fiction and nonfiction writers along with poets and photographers the opportunity to win up to $1,000 in each genre.
